Welcome...

Welcome to my blog. If you are on this page, you either learn the bass or the guitar, or already play as a pro. Or maybe you are looking for sheet music. Just a wild guess, I know, all this can be wrong. You are here, this is what matters. What can this page give you? We have here a whole load of books covering almost every aspect of bass playing. Further on there are textbooks considering harmony, music theory, and guitar techniques.Just a note for all us musicians and especially for all us bass players – music is performed with all known instruments, not only with bass or guitar. It makes no difference what instrument is a reference book for. We just read and make clever conclusions. Now, our usage tips. If a post contains nothing but a "Download Link", it is a book only. If you have any audio to accompany the book, you are welcome to share it.Other posts may have both PDF and MP3, and some of them may have an OGG or a WMA even when it says MP3. All books are PDF. Every archive is armed with a "recovery record" so that you could use Repair Archive in WinRar (Alt+R) if there is a problem with unpacking. "Forum Post" is here for thank you notes and comments not relating to specific posts. All information found here is represented for reference only. Use this information on your own risk. H,i this is a very valuable and amazingly reach blog. There are many sites about tools and plugs and software and what not, but there are no library of this kind around. I mean just look to the list of goods in here, they are a blessing. I donated that 2 euros and thinking to donate 2 more. I know it's not a big contribution but just to reflect my appreciation to the blog's offerings. Thank you who ever you are which you're obviously a musician... I'm grateful thank you cemman.

BassKo said...

Thank You, Cemman. Nice comment...
But I don't see Your E-mail (for "List" sending) :-)

Has anyone ever come across the pdf of Desi Serna's "Fretboard Theory"?

After trying everything from "Fretboard Logic", to Alfred's "Teach Yourself to Play Guitar" (which was cool for learning TAB ) and Bruce Arnold's "1st Steps for Beginning Guitarist", I still haven't found a method that truly explained to me the method behind the guitar's design and how to view the patterns on the fretboard.

Most books just kind of throw information at you with no true systematic plan of attack and expect you to come upon major revelations by yourself.

I've heard great reviews about Mr. Serna's book and would like to see if they are true.

Has anyone had the chance of using this text?

How was it? Did it live up to the hype?
